The modules in this course focus on the benefits of proper nutrition for supporting both brain and joint health in cats and dogs.

Course Information

The modules in this course focus on the benefits of proper nutrition for supporting both brain and joint health in cats and dogs. You will learn about the pathogenesis, clinical signs and evidence for nutritional management of feline and canine cognitive dysfunction syndrome (CDS) and degenerative joint disease (DJD). Successful completion of this course will give you new insights into managing senior patients with these common co-conditions.

To earn continuing education (CE) credit in areas where available, you will need to complete a series of 4 modules and then pass a brief quiz in Module 5 with a score of 70% or greater. Modules 2-4 will be available soon!

You will need a general understanding of veterinary medicine. An in-depth veterinary background is not necessary. Give yourself ample time to complete the course, ideally in a quiet, distraction-free setting. Each of the modules in this course will take about 10 to 20 minutes to complete.

This interactive course will provide you with both an overview and more in-depth information about feline and canine CDS and DJD. You will earn continuing education credit where RACE credits are provided, and a certificate will be available on your 'Profile' page.

This course comprises four modules and a self-assessment quiz.

This course will have four modules and a quiz early in 2025.
