The modules in this interactive course focus on the importance of nutritional management as part of a multimodal approach to supporting canine and feline patients suffering from concurrent conditions related to the kidneys, heart, pancreas, liver and bladder as well as fat sensitivities. Comorbidities can present a challenge in selecting a nutritional option with the proper balance of key nutrients to aid pets with varied health challenges.
You will learn about the prevalence and clinical signs of these concurrent diseases as well as evidence for therapeutic nutrition options to help support pets with these conditions. You will gain insights and confidence in applying science-backed therapeutic nutrition to support patients with common co-conditions that may cause conflicting nutritional needs.
To earn a certificate of completion, you will need to complete a series of 4 modules and then pass a brief quiz in Module 5 with a score of 70% or greater.
You may work on the modules at your convenience, as your completed work will save automatically as you progress. Modules 2-4 will be available soon!
